Resident marine mammals include humpback, sei, fin, minke, killer whales, and dall’s porpoise as well as Steller sea lions, harbor seals, and sea otters. In western Prince William Sound, black bears may be seen on narrow beaches and are most often seen fishing when the salmon are spawning.
