I've used several various proxy services for Japan, including neokyo, buyee, and zenmarket, and buyee is by far my favourite of the three. Zenmarket is extremely nice, however it's a little unpleasant to have to put money in and then not be able to buy straight; plus, the SHIPPING Charges, the shipping costs are exorbitant.
