We can clearly see brands’ market position: their market share and the tactics they’re using to get there. It also allows us to get a better sense of whom a client’s true competitors are – often, companies focus on the market’s largest players, but SimilarWeb allows us to see which brands are experiencing the most growth and disruption, as these are the ones we should be watching.
Dislikes :
There are traffic restrictions, particularly with social media. This means that the data should be used as a proxy rather than a single source of truth. I also don’t think the benchmarks are very useful.
Final Summary :
By examining data such as demographics, marketing channels, share of voice, and so on, we can build a better picture of the white space for each of our clients, which allows us to better inform our marketing strategy.

As a professional and an educator, I use Similarweb. Having used several other similar products in the past, I believe that Similarweb is by far the best due to its user-friendly, modern, and intuitive interface, range of functions, and amount of data available.
Dislikes :
There aren’t many disadvantages to using Similarweb. As with many analytics platforms, these take some getting used to and necessitate a basic understanding of how metrics work, where data comes from, and what various elements mean.
Final Summary
As a higher education educator (specifically in digital marketing), the ‘problem’ that Similarweb is addressing is providing our students with access to a wealth of industry data that is useful, relevant, and timely.

Prospecting potential leads in the ecosystem web saves me time. My function in this role is to look for new leads in the web e-commerce, but the leads must meet certain criteria to be considered potential leads.
Dislikes :
I dislike that the platform frequently requests my credentials, and I believe that this could be improved to provide a better user experience when logging in.
Final Summary
The main issue for us is that the leads I talk to tell me things like, “in one month, I have more than +200k visits,” so I enter Similar Web and confirm if the number is close or not. Most of the time, the leads are lying to me, so the price that I give to this lead is very different.
4. Guy V’s Review:
Likes :
The platform’s ease of use and simplicity – in just a few minutes, I can get a good overview of both my own client’s customers and competitors’ digital profiles.
Dislikes :
The main issue is that it only provides an accurate view of desktop traffic, and thus data can be slightly misleading at times. Having said that, this is something they are dealing with and it appears to be improving.
Final Summary
A better understanding of my client’s website visitors as well as competitors. A detailed description of who they are and what they are interested in.
5. Bechét P’s Review:

My company and I are new to Similarweb in general, but I enjoy being able to show my clients where they stand in comparison to the competition in their industry.
Dislikes :
We initially disliked being able to see more than three months of historical data, but our AE assisted us in obtaining a plan that allows us to see 12 months, which is fantastic!
Final Summary
As a media manager, Similarweb helps me in resolving major issues. When I try to explain why I recommend or don’t recommend keywords, and how I compare to competitors who spend the same percentage on paid media, I like to show them the data that supports my recommendations.
