Travel01 isn�t a travel agency. They are a front for a booking agency. This was confirmed by a Delta agent. She instructed us to go to Delta website to lodge a complaint. We were flying Aeromexico, which is an affiliate of Delta. We booked through travel01 online. When we finished-someone called us from travel01 to actually book us and then charge again for seats on the flight. Apparently we paid for standby service. That was the first red flag. 2nd red flag was the people at travel01 are from India. There are about 3-5 agents servicing there toll free number. They are using alias American names. Once you spend your money, it�s non refundable -3rd red flag. We bought tickets to leave Orlando at 1:59p to Porta Vallarta arriving at 7:50p. Travel01 sent us the correct itinerary, but actually booked us in the system leaving Orlando at 5:47p and arriving at our destination at 11:55p. We ended up spending half a day in the airport since we arrived early at 11:00am. You can imagine how upset we were in addition this was the beginning of my birthday celebration turning 60. We looked like idiots to the actual ticket agent, because we kept referring to our itinerary which we assumed was correct. The ticket agent had to actually show us on her screen that we were booked for the 5:47pm flight and not the 1:59pm flight. Massive disappointment and screw up. We called travel01 got nowhere-they don�t have authority to make any changes on any bookings. If you are thinking about booking through Travel01 after reading this-avoid hard ache and utter dissatisfaction and disappointment!!!
