Bash Box was created by them, Gary Boylan & Roisin O’Sullivan; a couple who love to cook and eat far-flung foods, but hate sourcing ingredients. They thought it would be fun to design ambitious dinner party menus full of rare ingredients, like fenugreek leaves, corn husks and hibiscus flowers, then deliver a how-to kit. People could have all the joy of cooking & eating great food without the slog. They designed Bash Box around two central values: Supporting local industry, and keeping their environmental impact as low as possible. They work hard to keep their food miles low. They include only Irish meat in their kits, purchased exclusively from independent local butchers.
