When you’re in the market for a used car at a buy here pay here dealership, they know you have a lot of options. But many of those options will sell you an “as-is” used vehicle, and once you drive off the lot, your relationship with that dealership is over. That leaves you in a tough position — the car they just sold you may have repairs that weren’t completed, there may not be a warranty to fix anything that may come up in the first few months, and if you shopped at a buy here pay here dealership because of poor or no credit — even if you make all of your payments on time, your credit score will not improve.
