I purchased 3 golden teacher syringes on 10/15/23. Inoculated 3 sterile grow bags under sterile conditions. All three syringes were contaminated. I now have 3 grow bags full of greenish black mold. $130.00 wasted. Emailed Mycology Now twice - no reply.

So far, so good... I have not yet gotten all of the instruments required to examine the contents of the syringe. When it happens, I will surely update my review. I must remark that the packing was professional and well-labeled!

In each syringe, there is a huge piece of gill material containing spores. It was difficult to agitate the mixture in order to separate the spores. Furthermore, the cannula given was not in sterile packaging and hence required to be sanitised.
