Excellent client service. BookBaby guided me through the process of both publishing and publicising my book. The BookBaby crew was always available via phone or email to assist or answer questions. My book's cover was designed by the graphic design team. The only drawback is that the document editing was not completely successful.

Everything went off without a hitch and in a professional manner.
With the exception of the cover design proposals. They were unsatisfactory, so I ended up presenting my own design.

I'm now on my third editing project with BookBaby. So far, they've delivered on all they've promised. All queries are swiftly handled, and I look forward to future collaborations with them.

It was a good starting point for a first-time self-publisher. I don't believe the employees grasped my topic. I responded to further questions in a timely manner, however I overlooked some of the facts. I suppose it would be preferable to submit your own cover if the graphics stock was not as deep as promised. During pre-distribution, staff contacts changed often.

My Book Baby experience was complicated. The procedure is complicated. Because I had no prior understanding of the procedure, I was occasionally frustrated with the turnaround time of my proofs. Much of the delay was my own responsibility because my skill to edit my work was lacking. But, having said that, I was astonished at how fast things moved after I authorised my digital copy. Overall, I'd say things went swimmingly. My job is complete, and I am quite pleased with the outcomes.
