ShopperChecked at a glance

  • What it is: an independent website where people review businesses they have bought from or used.
  • Founded: 2017.
  • Size: more than 14,000 businesses listed, from online shops to local services.

  • Moderation: reviews are screened before publication, first by automated checks and then by a person for anything flagged. Removals can be appealed.
