Worst travel agency ever! We bought a flight to Ecuador in March. On July 31st at the airline counter, my husband was told that his ticket was not valid because the travel agency did a wrong charge on his credit card. He couldn’t board the plane and he had to buy another ticket. We filed a complaint and we are still waiting for the refund! Please don’t buy from this company!

Travel01 isn’t a travel agency. They are a front for a booking agency. This was confirmed by a Delta agent. She instructed us to go to Delta website to lodge a complaint. We were flying Aeromexico, which is an affiliate of Delta. We booked through travel01 online. When we finished-someone called us from travel01 to actually book us and then charge again for seats on the flight. Apparently we paid for standby service. That was the first red flag. 2nd red flag was the people at travel01 are from India. There are about 3-5 agents servicing there toll free number. They are using alias American names. Once you spend your money, it’s non refundable -3rd red flag. We bought tickets to leave Orlando at 1:59p to Porta Vallarta arriving at 7:50p. Travel01 sent us the correct itinerary, but actually booked us in the system leaving Orlando at 5:47p and arriving at our destination at 11:55p. We ended up spending half a day in the airport since we arrived early at 11:00am. You can imagine how upset we were in addition this was the beginning of my birthday celebration turning 60. We looked like idiots to the actual ticket agent, because we kept referring to our itinerary which we assumed was correct. The ticket agent had to actually show us on her screen that we were booked for the 5:47pm flight and not the 1:59pm flight. Massive disappointment and screw up. We called travel01 got nowhere-they don’t have authority to make any changes on any bookings. If you are thinking about booking through Travel01 after reading this-avoid hard ache and utter dissatisfaction and disappointment!!!

**Avoid Travelo1.com – Unprofessional and Misleading**
I had a terrible experience with Travelo1.com. I purchased a flight ticket through their website at what seemed like a reasonable fare. Just five minutes after booking, I received a call from their team informing me that the fare I bought was no longer available. When I asked for a cancellation, they refused to provide a refund and instead offered only an e-voucher.
It's clear that they are baiting customers with low, unavailable prices to trap them into using their service. This is highly unprofessional and feels like a scam. I strongly advise others to avoid Travelo1.com at all costs – you might end up stuck with no proper solution and waste your money!

I needed to book a flight and used them to find a flight. I paid them. Then I got a call saying that my return flight was no longer available and oh I couldnt have any personal items. I asked if I could pay extra for a bag and they said no.. (that was a lie) I ended up paying 2x the amount for a flight with a different carrier. I was told I would not get my initial payment back ($250). Thus, I felt pressured and bullied to go ahead and book what they were offering because otherwise I would be out $250 and still need to get airfare. I let Mary know that I would be filing a complaint with the BBB as this was a bait and switch scam. This is after I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told no. I was told I could only speak with Mary.
I went ahead and filed the complaint with the BBB. I got a call this AM. They screamed at me for filing the complaint. They told me they would cancel my flight if I did not take my complaint back. I told them that the complaint was valid and they are not ethical. She yelled at me that they are cancelling my flight and I would not get a refund then hung up.
This is completely unethical and feels illegal. They lied. They pressured and bullied me into booking the flight. They should not be allowed to be in business.

Hi customer I am sharing my honest experience I booked an affordable price of $922 for myself and son to travel to Guyana on vacation.....within minutes my phone rang Mike from Travelo1 agency I am calling to confirm your reservation but your price went up to $1274 I told him this new pricing is not within my budget. Travelo1 never took out my payment only pending pending along with phone calls upon phone calls about the new price. I am a victim of bait and switch use my experience and think twice before you book.
