I was with Cordoba but because the woman handling it did not listen to me or follow up with me and they took money out of my account without my permission. When I left them & finally got my money back. According to them everything was finalized & done. Now I have a 40+ amount showing up on my credit report, when I called I was told I would have to wait 60 to 90 for it to clear up. I was never told I owed them money nor have I ever received a bill for that amount. If I would of known I would of taken care of the small amount but NO they just attach it to my credit report. I didn't cancel with them till September - it is only October. Hasn't even been 30 days since I cancelled - So how can they make a false claim on my report if it hasn't even been long enough. Then tell me I have to wait 90 days to remove it!! Is this what they do when you cancel?? Is this there way of getting back at you messing up the credit they were suppose to help clean up. You are damned if you do and damned if you don't with this company.

They took money a month after I had canceled and then shorted me on the refund. Save yourself the headache and go with a different company.

CORDOBA LEGAL IS A SCAM. THEY PROMISED TO CONTACT MY BANK AND NEGOTIATE A REDUCED PAYMENT PLAN. CORDOBA LEGAL (FORTH FINANCIAL) DEDUCTED MONEY FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR 3 MONTHS. THEY DID NOT MAKE THE PAYMENTS TO MY BANK ON THE LOAN. THEY NEVER CONTACTED MY BANK AT ALL. I SPOKE WITH MY BANK WHO INFORMED ME THAT CORDOBA HAD NOT CONTACTED THEM AT ALL. THE BANK INFORMED ME THAT CORDOBA COULD NOT CONTACT THEM BECAUSE CORDOBA DID NOT OBTAIN AUTHORIZATION FROM ME TO SPEAK TO THEM. MY BANK INFORMED ME THAT MY ACCOUNT WAS GETTING READY TO BE TURNED OVER TO A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR NON RECEIPT OF PAYMENT. THE BANK ALSO INFORMED ME THAT CORDOBA'S PRACTICE IS TO LET THE ACCOUNT GO INTO DEFAULT. ONCE THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED DUE TO DEFAULT, IT IS THEN SENT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY. ONCE IT GOES TO A COLLECTION AGENCY, THEN CORDOBA WILL NEGOTIATE WITH THE COLLECTION AGENCY. THEY JUST HOLD ALL OF YOUR PAYMENTS UNTIL DEFAULT. THIS IS NOT WHAT THEY PROMISED ME. I REQUESTED A CANCELLATION & REFUND. THEY DID NOT REFUND ALL OF MY PAYMENTS. THE EMAIL THEY SENT ME STATED THAT THERE WOULD BE ZERO FEES IF THEY DID NOT WORK FOR ME & REACH A SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH MY BANK. THEY NEVER WORKED FOR ME, THEY NEVER CONTACTED MY BANK, THEY NEVER EVEN ATTEMPTED A SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ME THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE PAYMENTS THAT WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT. THEY ARE JUST SCAM ARTISTS & LIARS. THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE IN BUSINESS BEING SO DISREPUTABLE. THE FLORIDA BAR ASSN & THE STATE OF FLORIDA SHOULD SANCTION THEM FOR DISHONEST AND DISREPUTABLE PRACTICES.

Cordoba Legal are crooks looking out for themselves: their fees. After discovering that these people who are not transparent or communicative made settlements without my consent. I brought this matter to their attention and they cancelled my contract in retaliation. These people have no empathy or morals!

I contracted with cordoba legal with debt reduction and consolidation and 292.31 is drafted every 2 weeks from my che king account yet I can't ever connect with them to speak about my account nor can I get anyone to call me back!! Looks like a scam...why can't I reach anyone???
