About Robert Cooney
Robert Cooney: Read Pros, Cons,Reviews and More
Having opened the doors of his eponymously named estate agency in October 2010, well known Tauntonian Robert Cooney has with the help of his dedicated team, grown the business to rapidly become one of the market leading professional estate agents in the locality. In that time, the team has grown to 11 people with probably the most wide ranging, interesting and varied property portfolio in the area. This, together with the organic growth that has been seen in the lettings and management side of the business, has meant the addition of a dedicated Lettings office in the town’s historic Hammet Street to service the additional demand that has resulted.
Robert Cooney is a lifelong resident of the town who has over thirty eight years’ experience in the profession locally. Having trained with what was then WRJ Greenslade & Co, he became qualified and went on to run the Taunton branch of a large multi disciplined West Country firm until its acquisition by Lloyds Bank. Throughout several mergers and acquisitions, Robert became Managing Director of Alder King, controlling 21 branches from Bristol in the North, down to the South Coast, whilst still based and living in Taunton.
Not wishing to ‘niche’ in any particular market segment, Robert Cooney markets properties right across the price spectrum and operates both Residential Sales and Lettings businesses. In addition, Robert advises landowners on development potential, often securing options to purchase, produces Gross Development Valuations, appraisals and feasibility studies for developers large and small.
Robert comments, “As principal of the business, I understand the need to focus on providing excellent property presentation and maximum exposure to channel traffic to your property. I have a superb team working alongside me, with a pro-active approach and a balance of integrity, skill, efficiency and care to offer both buyer and seller alike.
No gimmicks. No glib promises. Just great customer service, coupled with professional advice and a real desire to get the best price possible in the shortest period of time with the least amount of hassle for you.
